             The  Junior  Class  float,  "Off  With  Their  Heads",
             won top honors  in the  parade  of floats.

          Like  a  page  out  of  a  storybook,  Homecoming
          brought  many  exciting  events  and  a  happy
          ending.  A traditional parade through town  began
          the  main  stream  of activities.  The  Junior Class
          was  rewarded  for  their efforts  by winning first
          place  for  their  float,  "Off  With  Their  Heads".
          The evening's festivities  began  when  our deter­
          mined  football  team  won  over  Ashland,  19-0.
          The  halftime  program  was  climaxed  by  the
          crowning  of  Queen  Elsie  Miller and King Doug
          Cottingham.  Following  the  game,  the  semi-                Homecoming  royalty,  Queen  Elsie  Miller  and  King
