Volume twenty-seven of the C A U S E W A Y was published by

Taylor Publishing Company, 1550 Mockingbird Lane,

Dallas, Texas. 575 copies were printed. This 1993 edition

was chosen as a National Sample book and seventy-five

copies were distributed to Taylor representatives around

the country. During the production of this book, the

The cover is a four-color laminated lithocote with a J

smyth binding. The endsheets are Beckett E N H A N C E ! Wm

marble gray 801b cover. The text pages are printed on 901b —

Inspiration. The type used for the body copy throughout

the book is Seville. Headline text utilizes Seville Bold and

Geneva Condensed Bold, while some were created using

pagemaker and then colortagged. Caption copy was set in

Geneva condensed. Various faces for initial caps included

Seville Bold, Malibu Bold, Pyramid Condensed Bold,

Ballardvale Bold, and Rockwell Condensed. Some initial

caps were submitted as artwork.

Beckett E N H A N C E ! marble gray was used as the

backgrounds for the cover and the opening, dedication, and

student life division pages. The senior section also used

marble tan and peach as backgrounds. We would like to

thank Mr. Rocky Drach of C&D Printing for supplying us

with several sheets of paper to use as artwork.

We also need to thank the following: Coach Carver, Lisa

Chambless, Suzy Drury, Kim Hestor, Becky Hilton, and

Amy Terry for assisting with the copywriting; Tracey Smith

and Todd Walters for helping with the photography.

Angie and Charlie Vernon of Vernon Photography for

photographs for the people division, club group shots, some

Spires for the use of his printer throughout the year.

Christi Bounds wrote several feature

stories and also typed the index and

several articles. Shawna Antoine

wrote some of the articles.

Editor Sue Lulsdorf was ably

assisted by her assitant Tracey

Mayberry. The two put in hundreds

of hours in the book’s production.

Dan Olachea was the lone senior on

the Staff. He assisted Sue in the

formation of articles and used his

writing skills in polishing stories.

Along with freshmen Christi and

Shawna, Micah Schroeder took the

time to assist in writing features for

the 1993 Causeway.
