Though Miss Meyers is fulfilling her desire to counsel young
women as part of her job as a resident advisor, her years of
nursing are not going unused. In order to stay current with the
trends in her field of nursing, she works at a local hospital once
a week during the school year.
One of her tasks as school nurse has kept Miss Meyers
unusally busy this year — filling out illness excuses. A virus
spread throughout campus in the early part of second
semester. Many students succumbed to it. She kept very busy
dispensing medicine to students confined to their rooms.
