B uilding future leaders is one of the many goals of dei/eflop tmdwldb
the College. Becoming a leader comes naturally for
some students; others are forced into this role.
Casey Southerland, student body president and item that cm
vice president of the senior class, said, "I really didn't
want to be a leader because it didn't come natually to qmty mlumto a
me. I found with the more leadership roles that I took
on the more comfortable I became with it. This will iludmti umUfaf
help me as I go into the ministry as I have learned to

Student body and class officers assume many
different roles. Student body officers plan the student
i / o c a f t m .
body chapels and school-wide activities. Each group of
class officers is responsible for its class meetings and
plans one social for the entire student body. The junior
class officers spend most of the year planning for their
big event — the Junior-Senior Banquet.
