       When  asking  John  Morrissey  how  he
     chooses  the  characters  for  his  plays  he  says,
     “From  the  moment  a  student  walks  in  the
     room and sits down, the tryout begins. I look
     for  students  who  can  speak  clearly,  loudly
     and who can handle the responsibility.”
       Another person who fills a large role in the
     play’s  outcome  is  the  head  designer  Judy
     Moody.  She’s  in  charge  of all  the  costumes
     designed and worn in the play.
       This  year  they  used  some  antique  cos­
     tumes from the “20’s,” which have been col­
     lected over a period of years and stored away
     in the drama closet.  Many of these costumes
     were  donated  or  collected  from  different
     thrift  shops,  others  were  made  by  Moody’s
     committee  which  spends  much  of  its  free
     time working toward the deadlines.
       One  of the  costumes  used was  an original
