Moses Brown entered the championships much improved from the beginning of
the season. In the S.E.N.E. Prep League Championships held at St. George’s, the MB
team placed fourth. Harper took 7th and DeFeo 15th, both winning honors. Next
came Shaw 16th, DeBlois 25th, and Burbelo 31st.
The cross-country season was climaxed by the NEPS Class B Championships held
at Suffield Academy. Moses Brown had a second chance to defeat Governor Dummer
and Worcester. Everyone was thirsting for revenge. The team placed 11th with 269
points, surpassing Worcester and Governor Dummer with scores of 285 and 312
       respectively.
Although the season was not especially successful, it was one of great improve
ment. Next year, the prospects look bright, as almost the entire team will return.
