I_Jown to the wire season
Basketball, the big man’s game, Outstanding Junior Varsity players were:
where slam dunk, layups, fade away Jeff Allen, Greg Stanek, Mike Lee and
jumper and set shot are common names. Jeff Weis.
The Ralston High Basketball team
finished 1-18 this year. Coach Tim
Mosser attributes this to a young,
inexperienced team. But the record
doesn't speak for the team, though, a lot
of games they lost were very close and
down to the wire.
The Ralston Junior Varsity squad
finished the year out with a 4-12 dual
record. They were like the varsity team,
very young. They played tight in the
holiday tournament, but only managed
to come up with a 1-2 tournament play
record.
Some of the outstanding Varsity
basketbll players were; Dale Kistaitis,
Steve Bena, Pat Leinen and Bill Gray.
