Burger King? Wendy's? Godfather’s? McDon
ald’s!?! Where are the senior students hanging out in
their spare time?
Unlike most schools in the Omaha area, Ralston
didn’t have a specific meeting spot. On Friday or
Saturday night the Burger King on Center St. was
packed with Westside High students. Other crowded
Burger Kings could be found in Millard and on Dodge Amy Finn ell
St. with the Burke Bulldogs. Therese Fitzpatrick
Instead of going to one main establishment, ___^ z____
seniors decided on their own personal favorites. This
often included a combination of all the fast food
chains, Perkins, or Grandmother’s.
Would a hangout be popular if one were to be
chosen now?
Terry Larimer belives, “I don’t think one would
catch on. People already have their favorites.”
Dee Carbullido has different ideas, “I think that

a hangout would be a lot of fun. It would bring not Dave Fokken
only the seniors together, but it would bring all the
classes together.”
Hangouts have been written about in fiction
books, and talked about in movies. Could Ralston start
talking about one soon?
