The average day in the life of a secretary includes
performing such duties as typing, taking dictation, open
ing mail, making telephone calls, writing checks, greeting
visitors, helping pupils and faculty members, preparing
bulletins, and many others. We often wonder how they
are able to complete all those things required of them
and yet remain so pleasant.
Our secretarial staff at Delhaas is to be commended
for the efficient manner in which it handles all situations.
Mrs. Vosburgh, Mr. Ellis's secretary, proofreads a bulletin to
be placed in faculty mail boxes. Whenever a problem arises
in the general office, Mrs. Vosburgh, who is in charge, gladly Mrs. Shegda, secretary to our Librarian, is never idle. Whenever she is
offers her assistance. Faculty and students have learned t o not busy in the library assisting students, she can be found writing checks
