HARACTER. The focus of the college is to build
haracter in the lives of students through cam
pus organizations. I Timothy 4:12 says, “Let no man despise
thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word,
in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” Or
ganizations provide an atmosphere to nurture those quali
ties that develop character. Through various off-campus
service activities, students build character through serving
in a spirit of Christian charity that testifies to their rela
tionship with Christ. But character is also nourished through
personal fellowship and recreation within organizations on
campus. Students develop character by cherishing godly
principles of purity and Christian conversation while form
ing friendships with one another. The unity found in orga
nizations develops a deeper understanding of God’s love.
When members of an organizations strive to live for Christ,
the foundation for character is firmly established. The world
can “C” the difference.
