CHRISTIAN SERVICE
offers vital opportunity for training
One of the most important parts of a
student's training at CCC is his Christian
Service assignment. The Department of
Christian Service, led by Miss Esther Swigart,
provides students with actual experience in
witnessing and training of new Christians.
During second semester, students had the
opportunity of going to Christian schools
throughout the Bay area and sparking interest
in CCC through testimonies in word and song.
Many high school students learned of the
advantages offered them in a Christian liberal
arts college through these programs. Joy Clubs,
nursing home, trailer park ministries and other
new forms of witnessing begun by students on
their own provided the vital opportunities
needed to grow in the Lord's work.
