V ^ in c e 1964, Mr. Tieman has
been working his way up to the
status of "legendary" at Covington
Catholic. After a short history of
playing professional basketball in
the NBA for the Cincinnati Royals
with stars such as Oscar
Robertson and following a three-
year break Mr. Tieman took from
1970 to 1973 to work at Thomas
More College, "Coach T," as he is
sometimes called, has had a
career at CCH in positions
including Business Department
Chair, Development Director, Dean
of Discipline, Freshman, J.V. and
Varsity Basketball Coach, Alumni
Director, and Intramurals
Moderator. His memories involving
Mr. Kaelin include his being thin,
his playing on the faculty
intramural basketball team, and his
making a "bank shot" from the
corner of the court. He has always
been passionate about the Senior
Christian Awakening Retreats.
