^ J a n u a ry 1977 may be just a vague memory
to most people, but Covington Catholic
remembers when Mrs. Kathy Crail entered the
school. Mrs. Crail spent the next 32 years of
her life devoted to CCH.
She outlasted eight principals and two
buildings, three if you include the time CCH
was located in Newport for one summer.
Kathy knew the ins and outs of everything. If
you needed something or wanted to know
something, she was the person you asked.
She has seen many staff and faculty come
and go as well. She could tell many stories of
people that have come through these hallowed
halls. Some of the famous people that she has
met over the years included Marge Schott,
professional wrestler the Million Dollar Man
(Ted Dibiase), baseball player Dave Justice,
professional golfer Steve Flesch, and former
Bengal Anthony Munoz.
Some personal things about Kathy is she is
cat lover. Over the years she adopted many
and loved them all. She has six children
and too many grandchildren to count. Now
she spend her free time attending ballgames
and school events. Since she is engaged to
Mr. George Schneider, former CCH Vice
Principal, they will not be far from Covington
Catholic. She admits that over the years CCH
has become part of her family and will always
be.
