w ill Ammerman has graced each and

every Covington Catholic sports team
with his presence at least once this year,
and has played a chief role in organizing
the tailgating before many games and
other out-of-school events. Will’s entire
demeanor has strengthened the faculty-
student relationship which, in past years,
has suffered. An example of this was
seen when Will spearheaded a fundraiser
for the earthquake-ridden country of Haiti,
monetarily and perseveringly defeating all
eight of the Diocesan high schools in the
process.
Mr. Zechella said, “He’s one of the best
presidents since I’ve been here. He really
set the tone for the school year, not only
for the seniors but for the entire student
body. Will and his cabinet have
communicated well and have been
flexible and respectful to the
administration, while being able to make
tough decisions.” These melodious words
were easily backed by Student Senate
moderator Mr. Flesch, who said, “Will has
been a delightful young man to work with.
He’s embraced his position as class
president, and conducted himself in a
responsible and playful manner.”
