A zero. Since the beginning of
      the year, students had been
keeping track of the number of
      schools days they had left.
Everyone was ready for a long
      awaited and well deserved summer
      vacation of fun and sun.
        Graduating seniors had dreamed
      of grasping their diplomas and
moving their tassels from the left
to the right side of their caps,
signifying moving on in life to new
      experiences and responsibilities.
      Now they watched those dreams
become reality and were about to
      find out just what opportunities
      were in store for them.
        Underclassmen were also in the
process of wrapping it all up. They
were checking in books, cleaning k m

      their clearance slips, and making
plans for their first day off, hoping
      it wouldn't rain.
        The usual spring fever was
subdued by three weeks of steady
rain in May. Overcast skies were
hanging heavy, and no one wanted
to be under them. Everyone was
beginning to wonder if it would
      ever end.
While waiting for the bell to
      ring, students might have found
      themselves already reminiscing
      about events that took place
during the 1981-82 school year, Sunshine at last. Junior Tim Rayer and sopho

        Many activities filled the time
from day 180 to day zero: classes,
      homework, athletic events, dances,
concerts, and plays. The list was

      science assignments, compositions,
