But the wisdom from above is first pure,
then peace-loving, gentle, and open to reason,
full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality and without hypocrisy.
True justice is the harvest reaped by peacemakers
from seeds sown in a spirit of peace.
James 3:17-18

Congratulations to the Class of 2004!
Vou’ve traveled a long way since your initial experience at orientation at Camp Sloane. Vou’ve
learned a lot, you’ve grown a lot, and you should be proud of your many accomplishments and the
fine young women you have become.
Now, when they time has actually come to say “goodbye,” we often wish you would linger a little
longer. After all, you’ve finally become the leaders, actors, singers, politicians, scientists, mathematicians,
poets, writers, artists, linguists, and activists we’d hoped you’d be. But, then we remind ourselves - life is
about moving, growing, changing...
Tuck Everlasting, one of my favorite books, sums it up. Life, says Tuck, “it’s a wheeL.Everything’s a
wheel, turning and turning and never stopping...always coming in new, always growing and changing,
and always moving on. That’s the way it is supposed to be. That’s the way it is.”
So, Ladies, make sure that you stay on that wheel of life, make sure that you don’t get “dropped
off ...left behind,” take advantage of every opportunity, live life to the fullest, and be all that you can be;
then come back and tell us of your triumphs.
Know that we’ll miss you-
God Speed!
Mrs. Chandler
