One oft commandments of Scripture is to

speak uth with those around us.We have to

over:ome any fears about our inadequacies

'order to speak the truth. Whether con-

ronting a roommate with whom we have a

disagreement or telling a family member of

God's deep love for them, we are to speak the

truth. However, we must speak the truth in

love. Speaking with love adds a whole new

dimension, because it changes our attitude

from one of arrogance or condescension to

one of humility and meekness. God's com­

mand is unavoidable: SPEAK THE TRUTH;

because He is a God of Love, He takes His

command a step further by telling us that

love is an essential part of getting the mes­

sage across to someone. Without love, our

message, whatever it is, becomes void of any

sincerity.
