FRESHMEN

To the Class of 1968:
Last September, fifty-one students met again in the halls of Moses Brown to
form the freshman class for the ’64-’65 academic years. We realized that the
oncoming year would be one of our most crucial.
Academically, the freshmen stand high; more than twenty percent are on
honors, while some have reached or barely fallen short of high honors. Athleti­
cally, moreover, we have easily measured up to, and even surpassed, our ex­
pectations. We can boast of having five freshmen on varsity sports, three of
whom have received^ their varsity MB.
Looking back on our freshmen year, we see it as one of satisfaction and ac­
complishment. With college on the distant horizon, we, as the Class of 1968,
must rededicate ourselves next year with foresight to the future and gratitude
to the past.
