College should alter our lives, change our
way of thinking and acting, and expand
our horizons. It should be a stage of
growth, spiritually and academically.
In order for college to be a positive
experience, it and what it has to offer
must be embraced with determination to
draw forth from the professors and the
books the knowledge they have to offer
and discernment to separate truth from
supposed fact. This process of assimulat-
ing and applying knowledge requires a
constant reliance upon God.
Allowing His power to guide one
throughout the college years and beyond is
the essential key to leading a successful
life. Directing one’s desires to fulfill His
will is to lead a circumspect life a life
characterized by habits and speech which
picture God’s unfathomable grace to man
kind.
