extra help when learning their numbers and

the alphabet.

With a small class of students, she found

it much easier to give special attention to

each child.

Teaching almost any subject to young chil­

dren is made easier with the use of flash-

cards. Amy uses them very effectively when

teaching a phonics drill to her reading stu­

dents.
