Look Inside the
Easter Library. ON IN THERE.
The library is for studying and re
search. That’s what we are told dur
ing orientation. Everything can be
found in the card catalog — knowl
edge is at our fingertips. The library
is a quiet place; the only sounds to
be heard are hushed whispers, the
swish of turning pages, and the gen
tle whir of the copier. There are
students who take advantage of all
the library’s resources. However,
there are those who haunt the
stacks, quietly making mischief and
who silently “cut up” in the carrels.
Even serious scholars have a slight
ly zany side. They just keep it quiet.
