Because they were a young inexperienced team
the Delhaas swimmers did not fare very well this
season. Although they worked hard on a rigorous
training schedule they were outclassed by bigger
and stronger teams. Led by Coach Weber and senior
co-captains, A1 Hubbard and Bob Israel, the Del­
haas mermen put on a respectable showing at all
thdr meets. We are sure, berause of their fine spirit,
sportsmanship, and developing talent, these boys
will do well in the future.
