Memories
Important
As you put together your own per
sonal yearbook of memories of 1978-79
at Bitburg High School, I hope you will
include, along with thoughts of friends,
fun times, and extracurricular activi
ties, remembrances of what you've
learned about becoming a better
human being.
Hopefully you will also focus on
benefits that have come from opportu
nities to exercise the rights and respon
sibilities of being a citizen of your
country and of the world.
To be remembered, as well, is the
ability which you have developed this
year for being both a teacher and a
learner, with emphasis on inquiry,
openness, and commitment.
May you have happy recollections of
1978-79! — BETTY J. NICHOLAS,
Assistant Principal.
‘In the Future,
You’ll Think Back’
Your yearbook staff has done a fine job in putting
together the activities and highlights of this school
year. As time passes these pictures and pages will
grow in importance for you, and you will enjoy the
memories of your days at Bitburg High School and of
your friends and classmates.
I’m sure all of you join me in extending thanks to
the members of the Yearbook staff who have done
their best to make our days together come to life in
these pages. — JOHN I. MURRAY, Deputy Princi
pal.
