Yearbook Staff Captures Special Memories

A Word From the Yearbook Sponsor
This has been an interesting year for the 1979 yearbook
staff. As we are rushing toward deadline, several facts have
come out which you might like to know about. First off, let
me tell you that the cost of this yearbook is just over $8,000
($6,528 to the publisher, $700 for postage and $925 for pho­
tography and picture production). Our sales have been
about 525 . . . making each book cost about $16. If we are
to sell the book for $12 (which we have), we’ve had to come
up with about $3000 extra. We’ve done this by selling
about $1,300 in ads . . . and then selling pages to athletic
teams and their support groups, clubs, drama, etc. Some
people have questioned the wisdom of selling these pages
. . . but these page sales have cut the price of each book
