At Holland High, Orchestra was much more than what
everyone thinks! "Orchestra means a lot because you can
express yourself in music. Through Orchestra, you can play
a more variety of music from classical to pop music, and for
each and every piece, you can put your own personality to
make it into your own piece. With me experiencing this for
the past 5 years, I think this idea is the most im portant to
me," said Brian Tran (12). He has been playing the Violin

since he was a kid! He saw playing the Violin in his future,
and hoped to double m ajor or m inor in Violin Performance.

Orchestra went to Festival this
year and got a Division 1
rating. Orchestra had many
concerts that were very
memorable. Anyone who

went to their concerts got to
hear how lovely they sounded
and got to experience their
beautiful music that every
student in Orchestra
practiced everyday. Through
their performances,
audiences could really hear
and feel the passion they put
into their music!
