The purpose of the color guard is to interpret
the music that the marching band is playing
via the synchronized work of flags.

"Our goal is to get a one at festival, I
would say, but really it is ju s tto do the
best we can, w hether we get a one or
not. If we put our best perform ance
out there, then that's all we need to
do," said Jacquelyn DeVries (12).
