This swimming season was
unforgettable for the boys. There

were many meets that they won
and a few that they lost. Although,
they came up short at times, they

were only determ ined to try harder.

Joel Bruinsma (12) started swimming in
7th grade. His m otivation to start
swimming was his mom. He plans to
continue swimming in college.

Denis Engle (12) started com petitive
swim m ing when he was twelve. His
parents thought he was good in the water,
so he thought he would give it a try. He
plans on continuing to swim after he
graduates from high school.
