Melanie Carver Michaelis has a
unique relationship with her super
visory teacher. Mrs. Donna Benitez
taught Melanie when she was in the
seventh and eighth grades. This
past year she supervised Melanie as
she taught first grade at Northside
Christian School. Melanie received
many pointers from Mrs. Benitez,
among them reading tips designed
to help her students achieve their
best in learning how to read. Me
lanie will use next year what she has
learned this year as she teaches
first grade along side of Mrs.
Benitez.
Many prospective teachers take
their fiancees or spouses with them
to the recruitment conference when
looking for potential employment.
Stephanie Baumann took her fian
cee Conrad Thompson, a senior
business major, to February’s
Teacher Recruitment Conference.
