Flip Flop

1014 Since 2011 Ralston seniors a n d juniors look fo rw a rd to the

d a n ce th a t th ey see as their o w n kn o w n as Flip Flop. It first started
d u e to the adm inistration not a llo w in g students to d a n ce h o w they

w a n te d , causing tension. The students still w a n te d to h a ve a w inter
form al so Flip Flop w a s born. This years Flip Flop w a s put on by
C hristen C hristensen a t the C o m fo rt Inn. This d a n ce w a s not just for

upperclassm en, m any freshm an a n d sophom ores also a tte n d e d to
help m ake this d a nce a success. E veryone s h o w e d up around 8 anc
d a n ce d non stop fo r fo u r hours. The most fun p a rt a b o u t w a s see­
ing e ve ryo n e g e t all dressed a n d spending the night w ith all your
friends. Parents a n d security w e re a t the d a n ce to m ake sure every i

thing w e n t w e ll a n d as planned. Each y e a r the to rch is passed dow
to the next class to m ake this d a n ce as successful as years passed

a n d the class o f 2 0 1 4 hopes this tra d itio n w ill continue.
