Junior g o lfe r, H a nna h H a rd e r also m a d e it to the River C ity C o n fe re n ce , m e etin g the qualifications o f having
a G P A o f 3 .5 o r g re a te r a n d a letter. The team w e n t to a to ta l o f 5 d iffe re n t tournam ents o ve r the season,
including Districts, York, a n d R a lsto n -M illa rd International. H o w e ve r, th e re w e re som e challenges d u rin g these

tournam ents tha t the g irls fa ce d . H a rd e r tells us that, "O u r b ig g e s t ch allen ge w as to n o t g e t d is c o u ra g e d d u r­
ing the tournam ents. I just try to take it on e hole a t a tim e, a n d fo rg e t a ll a b o u t the pre viou s holes, a n d move
on fro m on e hole to the next. The com petition in York w as p ro b a b ly the w o rst b e cau se I h a d b o u g h t n e w
cleats a n d they w e re n t w o rn in yet. M y fe e t w e re p re tty s c a rre d up a fte r that.' Even though the team alw ays

fe lt co n fid e n t fo r the tournam ent, "The com petitions a re alw ays tough, yo u're ne ver quite
re a d y fo r it as it seems it's so much h a rd e r than it actually is." [Even though] this y e a r w e
d id n t have any seniors, so the team steps up to fill in the seniors shoes.
