       ine theater's  season  began  w ith
      the  dram a  D a vid   &   Lisa  which  w as
      perform ed  by  the  Play  Production
      class.  It  w as  a  story  that  centered
      around  tw o   teens  struggling  w ith

      mental  problems.  D a vid   is  an  O C D
      teenager  w ith  an  uptight  control­
      ling  mother,  and  fears  making
      contact  w ith  outhers  He  often  says
       "A  touch  can  kill  you  know."  Emory
      Darling  w ho  took  on  the  role of
      D avid,  said  that,  "The  hardest  part
      o f  the  show  w as  not  being  able  to
      touch  anyone.  I'm  a  guy  w ho  loves

      to  hug  so  that  w as  strange!"  Lisa
      on  the  otherhand,  w as  struggling
      w ith  multiple  personality  disorder.
      Senior  Sarah  M c G ill  said,  I  found                    D avid  &  Lisa
      it  challenging  to  have  to  switch
      mannerisms  betw een  Lisa  and
      M uriel's  personalities  w ithout  losing

      the  character  altogether."  The  show
      w as  very  moving  and  w as  a  sur­
      prisingly  strong  start  to   the  season.
      W ith  lots  o f  newbies,  upperclass­
      men  w eren't  sure  w hat  to  expect,
      but  they  underclassmen  proved
      they  m ade  the  cut  for  a  reason!
