William Jervis
1909 —1969
Mr. William Jervis was a man who spent over thirty
years of his life working with young people. For three of
those years he taught mathematics at Wilson and spent
numerous hours after school had ended coaching the
chess team and the mathletes. But Mr. Jervis’ w it and
i talent extended beyond the halls of Woodrow Wilson. He
was a skilled artist in oils and a master with tools. His
students and associates will always remember Mr. Wil
I liam Jervis as th a t quiet pipe-sm oking teacher who
