Once upon a time there was a good and wise skipper . . . . a man who
thought first and foremost of the young people with whom he came in contact.
After a number of years during which this good leader guided other
schools through the seas of knowledge, he came as pilot of a brand new
ship, The S.S. Permian.
And here’s a rousing salute to skipper Gail Smith! To this loyal friend of
all Permian students and teachers . . . . we dedicate this yearbook!
