                   The system,  on the whole,  was  a comparatively  simple one, more noticeably effective than any for some years.
                       Shortly  after  the  end  of  the  season  the  annual  football  banquet  was  held.  The  speakers  were  Mr.
                   Aldrich,  Mr.  Waughtel,  and  Mr.  Jack  Martin.  Mr.  Thomas  acted  as  toastmaster.  Captain  Aldrich  pre­
                   sented  a  suitably  inscribed  silver  humidor  to  Coach  Waughtel.  Chase  Sanderson  presented  Bob  Aldrich
                   with  a  gold  football,  a gift  from  the team.  Shortly after the assembly at which Mr. Thomas awarded letters,
                   Captain  Aldrich  presented  the  lettermen  with  inscribed  silver footballs.  These were the gift of Mr. Aldrich
                   and  Bob  as  expressions  of  their  appreciation  to the  team  as  a  whole.  It  was  then  the  good  fortune  of  the
                   School  to  hear  that  Captain  Aldrich  had  been  reelected.
