winning three out of their nine games with one of them 9
being Gross Catholic. When asked how you would
describe your team, Kainan Bowyer said, “ Family,
because we're always together and have each others'
back.” The team works hard all fall to perform the best
they can, always leaving everything on the field.
When asked about the biggest challenges at their
games, Alec Watson reveals it was, “ Getting ourselves
mentally and physically prepared to play our best all
four quarters.” Our players go on the field every Friday
prepared to show the Ralston strength. Confidence
doesn't seem to be a problem with the team, Watson
j i dmits, “ I’m very confident because I know that the
person next to me will give their all, and we'll play for
each other like it’s our last game.” Watson is a senior
who loves playing football with his teammates and
tries to do everything he can to make the plays work
and take home a win for Ralston.
“ Gross twenty to seventeen,” exclaims senior Alex
Cruz when he was asked about the most successful
game this year. Cruz reveals his unexpected
inspiration to play football. “ Magic Johnson. Fie
defeated AIDS, showing me you can do anything you
set your mind to.” No matter what, our team brings us
joy going on the field to play, and give their all to show
the Ralston way. They never give up and fight until the
very end.
