play, "The Crucible" six feet under. Based upon Arthur
Miller's the classic play set during the Salem witch
trials, Ralston High students portrayed the events in an
elegant and ominous way. Although the audience
wasn't as large due to the snow day, the play turned
out to be a giant success! This performance differed
from many of the previous ones. "This was the first
serious play I have experienced here at Ralston High,"
Sophomore Tyler Bergman explains. "It was very
i interesting but it was also a very dark subject matter."

Every actor and actress involved with the play worked
their hardest and it paid off. They put in much overtime
to perfectly memorize the complex lines. Hours of
studying, many nights reading over and over to refine £
the lines, effort was shown all four nights of The .£
Crucible. ^
