student life. These op­
portunities are pro­
vided via student or­
ganizations. The nature of
each organization is quite dif­
ferent. Some are academically
structured, while others provide
services to the College community.
Some merely provide students with
recreational pleasure. But no matter
what the nature of the organization is,
there is something for everyone here at AC.
During this past year, there were several
successful events which were sponsored by stu­
dent organizations.
— a Freshmen/Sophomore Semi-Formal was held,
— retarded citizens of the Lehigh Valley were enter­
tained by ‘A Merry Christmas’,
— The Rulers of the Domain reigned victorious at the
second annual Lip-Sync Contest,
— Los Lobos and The Hooters gave concerts in Billera Hall,
— Juniors and Seniors went on a Get-Away Weekend to the
Poconos,
— a chapter of Amnesty International was started,
Student organizations not only provide the student body with plenty
of extra-curricular activities, but also show that a social life at college
is just as important as the academics.
