at Conference
D esides a 5-2 dual record, the
^freshm en Girls' Track team
broke many records. Gina Mon-
estero broke the 100 meter dash
and tied Susy Madsen’s record in
the 200 meter run. Michelle Walford
broke the softball throw by throwing
170'. Carol Cline, Teresa Conway,
Gina Monestero, and Kristi Radicia
broke a record in the distance med­
leys.
Coach Ann Fulkerson com­
mented, "We had strong talent in
the medleys. Our season peaked at
conference which was the right
time.”

“ The invitationals were best
because of the competition,” said
freshman Scott Baab. Accomplish­
ing a 43 dual record the team fin­
ished fourth at the Millard Invita­
tional, sixth at the Fremont Invita­
tional, and third at Conference.
Coach Tim Davis said, "We had
some fine talent this year. They were
Darin Ohnsted, high and low hur­
dles, pole vault; Paul Tompkins, dis­
cus, shotput; Scott Baab, hurdles;
and Rich Hellyer, distances.
Grab the pole at the end, run to the pit, let the pole take you
up, turn your body, let go of the pole, and fall to the mat
