                   OUR main event

nd now for the main event, Ral
                A ston’s own Kenny Schaefer.
“ I started boxing seriously this
year, but I’ve always been interested
                in the sport,” said Kenny.
"Back in seventh grade I saw
                 Rocky’ and the ‘Greatest’. After
seeing them I wanted to try boxing,”
                said Kenny.
Boxing means lots of hard training
                for Kenny.
“ I do a lot of road work, and I jump
rope, hit the speed bag and then the
heavy bag, then I do some spar
                ring,” said Kenny.
How long does Kenny train for a
                fight?
"I try to train two weeks before a
                fight,” said Kenny.
Kenny, who boxes at the 139 lb.
weight class, has a 2-1 record.
"My first fight was a ‘KO’, my sec
ond fight was a decision, then I lost
my third fight by decision,” said
                Kenny.
                  " I ’m really thinking seriously
about becoming a boxer, but I really
               don’t know,” said Kenny.
