Our fine baseball team scored its Fourtli I.ower Bucks County League Section One championship this year with a
league record of f3 to 1. Five of the team s players had the distinction of being named to the 1969 All-Lower
Bucks (-ounty I earn — Rich Baker, catcher — Ken Kershaw, first base — Randy Hill, second base — Ed Conrey,
outfield and Phil Core, pitcher.
Under the direction of the Courier 'Pimes “ Coach of the Year”, Mr. Nick Opalenick, and his assistant, Mr. Fred
l^eu is, the team achieved an overall record of 15 wins, 2 losses and no ties.
