for everyone in fhe mi . Special recognition
for fhis year goes «uf fo culinary Arfs, Green
club, and Mafh club. The culinary Arfs feam
fook first plaCe at the inst'tuf e C°r culinary
Arts Metro community college c°mpetit,0|'1> and
Green club has expanded their recycling project
throughout the entire school, making it possible
t® recycle over twenty school items. Math
club began a new tradition ®f an Elementary
Math i>ay h°sted at the high school. This year's
was a major success with over fifty 5th and
Gth graders a tteM<*ing. clubs that are new t°
the school this year include the Lat^o Heritage
council, under the direction of Mrs. Zeleny
and Mrs. Weaver, and the Ralst°n Readers, led
by Ms. Sasye and Mrs. f arr. Mr. f ishback has
taken over the excitement °f frenCh club
and brought the culture of french cuisine. M«t
only have there been new clubs this year, but
several have seen m°re members this year
than in year's past- Involvement continues
t® gr®w as Ralst°n students find new ways t°
express themselves.
