t happens almost every night. At 10:25, people
I
come flocking back to college after a fun evening
off campus; others say their last good-byes to their
"sweeties" until they can see each other in the morn
ing. But when 10:30 finally strikes, the students on
campus know they need to be in their dorms because
it's the inevitable curfew. However, after curfew
there are still many things going on in the dorms.
Units and rooms get together for devotions and to
discuss the events of the day. There is usually at least
one wrestling match in the men's halls. Many study
for tests and quizzes or work on projects that so eas
ily "sneak up" and are due the next day. Instead of
studying, some use their time to chat with friends
on IM. Those who are still hungry for a midnight
snack (usually the men) might order a pizza from
Papa John's or Hungry Howie's. But for all, the night
life finally comes to end and it's time for rest, only to
awaken a few hours later to start another day.
