MRS. HELEN J. PAXTON

All people have dominant traits; every
one knows Mrs. Paxton as the constant
friend of all the students. No matter what
.she is doing, she will quickly drop it to help
a student in any way she can. Always ready
to proof-read a composition or to discuss a
             theme, she has undoubtedly accumulated
more experience in writing papers for
Moses Brown English teachers than any
one else alive. Any student short on re
search material can easily get her help in
finding books at any library around. Most
important, though, she has always made
her library, first in the back of Alumni
Hall, and now in the new building, a wel
come refuge from the horrors of study
halls. And so we of the Class of 1964
take great pleasure in dedicating our year
book to Mrs. Helen J. Paxton.
