SKI TRIP
Well, after a very long bus ride we finally arrived at the Friar
Tuck Inn. Although most of us didn't get to ski due to in
cessant rainfalls, we found way to amuse ourselves. We were
entertained by Mr. Ferony's fantastic guitar playing and Mr.
Collins background vocals. Some people took the time to relax
in the pool or sauna. Ms. Sokol and Ms. McLoughlin danced
the night away in the disco. Throughout the halls we heard
boomboxes blaring Spanish Merengue music and people
shouting "chupa-cabra" (Puerto Rican vampire). Many of us
stayed up until 4:30 am with our roommates making prank
phone calls to other Seniors. Some students chose the option
to visit the mystical caves of Flowe Caverns. The few people
who chose to ski were drenched and soaked, but had a memor
able experience. Sunday morning Fr. Ray gave us an uplifting
mass before we left the Friar Tuck Inn. Although most stu
dents complained about our excursion, they cannot deny that
they had enjoyable moments in time.
