                                                                                                  of the arduous work undertaken
                                                                                                  by the  maintenance,  transporta­
                                                                                         tion,  and  cafeteria  staffs.  Often  seen
                                                                                         touching up our school walls and  mowing
                                                                                         the  grass,  the  maintenance  staff  makes
                                                                                         sure  that  the  campus  is  in  excellent
                                                                                         condition.
                                                                                             "I feel  proud about the extraordinary
                                                                                         state  of  our  campus,”  commented
                                                                                         Richard  Ramnath,  a  sophomore.  "In  the
                                                                                         four  years  I  have  been  here,  the
                                                                                         maintenance staff has done a stupendous
                                                                                         job.”
                                                                                             During  the  school  year  the  transpor­
                                                                                         tation  staff  provides  door-to-door  ser­
                                                                                         vice  for  over  200  students.  "The  bus
                                                                                         drivers  are  very  nice,  and  they  take  me
                                                                                         to  and  from  school  as  quickly  as
                                                                                         possible,”  remarked  sophomore  Wendy
                                                                                         Tuerkheimer.
                                                                                             Every  school  day,  the  cafeteria  staff
                                                                                         has  to  prepare  lunch  for  over  1300
                                                                                         hungry  students.  Also,  the  staff  provides
                         *  v                                                            breakfast  and  dinner  for  the  dorm
          (jifttu i     ■                                                                students.
                                                                                             "We  overlook  what  a  difficult task  it
                                                                                         is  to  prepare  appetizing  meals  for  so
                                                                                         many  people,”  noted  Jason  Schwadel,  a
                                                                                         dorm  student.  "But  it  is  exceptional  for
                                                                                         institutional  food.”


                                                                                        Washing  down  the  transportation  area,  Gary
                                                                                        Gordon  dilutes  any  possible  fuel  deposits  with  a
                                                                                        hose.
