                        Serious  Scholars



           A       s  the  case  has  been  in  the  freshman-year college courses.  In
                                                              fourteen
                   past,  the  graduating  class  addition,
                                                                          seniors
                   once  again  demonstrated  reached  National  Merit  Semifin­
           its  talent  for  strong  academic  alist  honors.  As  Pat  Leonard  put
