Pride of Support

A dvertising . . . the section of the book that makes the rest
of the yearbook possible. For all the business who purchased
advertising space in the 1989 T a u ru s, we thank you. And for
all the parents and friends who sent in personal ads for graduating
seniors, we thank you, also.
The South Omaha community is a special one. It hosts several
fine businesses, restaurants and grocery stores. Because South
Omaha is one of the oldest districts in the city, it also boasts a history
unlike any other in Omaha. Several of its buildings are on the Na­
tional Register of Historic Places and were part of a Landmarks tour
in the spring of 1988.
In celebrating our 100th anniversary, South High School recog­
nizes the special community we serve and thanks them for 100 years
of support.
