The hottest
hits
ads, Fads, Fads . . .
those “ IN" fashions
that are always seen
everywhere. Here at
F South each of us has
our unique taste. The fashions
change rapidly through the year
and what is trend-setting in Oc­
tober might be out in February.
We each have our own
styles which reflect personal
taste, experience and life styles.
The styles seem to rotate in a gi­
ant circle, always coming back to
old favorites with perhaps a
scarf, belt, or hat added to mod­
ernize the outfit.
Colors saw the brights take

their place this year with a splash
of black to add the finishing touch.
At the same time, the browns and
earthtones continued to hold
their place in style. As for another
look, the baggies and plaids are
not so bad.
Designer labels were hot with
some students, many of whom
have a job after school to pay for
their more expensive wardrobe
needs. For others, the everyday
casual look of a T-shirt and jeans
was comfortable and affordable.
Whatever the person's taste,
examples could be found at South
High in 1988-'89.
