Tom Gonzales reaches high for the freshman team.

Team improves

T he freshman football team was led
this year by coaches Mario Remijio
and Floyd Wozniak, both of whom
had praise for their players.

Coach Wozniak complimen­
ted the team by saying, "They improved a lot
during the season." He also added that they
learned a lot. "They formed an idea of what
it takes not only to be a good player but also
a well organized team."
Coach Wozniak said this was one of the
best groups as far as playing well together he
has seen in his 27 years of coaching.
Coach Remijio felt that their winning the
first game against Lewis and Clark was a high­
light of the season. He added, "The whole
group was great. They all worked hard and
dedicated themselves to meeting our expec­
tations."
