Struts its stuff
9 his year the band received an ex
T cellent rating at the UNO Music
Bowl. The band this year was an or
ganization to be proud of.
Although about one-half of
the band were newcomers, they still had the
ability to show their Packer Pride in marching,
concert, and pep bands. One reason for this
claims senior Melissa Whitehurst is because,
"The band is as close as any family could be
this year". Also to support the band there was
formed a Band Parents Organization.
Also, this year the jazz band was small, but
continued to show its excellence in playing
and stage shows.
Mary Wallace proves girls can play trombones, too, as she accompanies Ron Hardin.
